As a techie, I'm wary of anything that says it contains Windows software and isn't certified 'safe' by Microsoft. To me, it's a red flag for many reasons. Next, I could never get the Android app to open at all. It's useless. You don't have to have these things to use this, but why include them if they don't work? It screams at me that clearly no testing was done prior to release. Like some other users, I had to resort to YouTube to figure out how to use it, I got an error code. so far it worked. All you really have to do is plug it in, run the report, and get the code. The software and app are useless add-ons; I don't understand why they are there at all. They only complicate the process and spoil the user experience. To be honest, I've seen others I like better. 2 stars for me only for including useless software that doesn't even work. .
