At first I thought I was scratching the floor with a new 14 inch brush. removed the rollers from my old 14 inch brush. The description of the new brush says the wheels are removable, which in my case is probably what we do. To wear out the new bristles we use the new brush in the garage for a few months to allow the bristles to wear out and become more flexible. Our old 14" brush is still usable. It's been a good brush for about a dozen years and it looks like a new brush will be the same once we break it in. For the garage I leave the wheels because it is a concrete floor.
