I placed this item on my central vacuum (replaced the 10 inch brush) and found that my vacuum could not generate enough suction to pick up dirt/sand. Find out if the brush is too far off the floor due to the wheels or if the central vacuum can't provide enough suction for a large brush.

My honest opinion is that it works great for people who don't have cat or dog shedding, it cleans pretty much everything well except vacuuming pets like dogs and cats, it collects pets Hair (fur) anywhere on the outside of the nozzle and the person then has to manually clean it (hair, fur).

The brush works well as long as you have a strong vacuum; it's wide, so it needs good suction to work most effectively. The wheels prevent the brush's bristles from flattening, which can affect the floor brush's performance. I've used it 4 or 5 times and recommend it for hard floors.

I have a 2000 square meter aircraft hangar. feet and I have to keep the floor dust free. I use a DeWalt vacuum, but I needed a wider nozzle that would work on a cement floor. Significantly wider than the 10" model, this brush allows for quick and easy cleaning of the hangar floor. I can vacuum an entire floor in about 20 minutes. It's a great brush if it's durable.

I wish I had bought it sooner. I like the fact that it's nice and wide as it cuts cleaning time in half and allows you to get areas of the floor I might have missed with a smaller suction nozzle. It fits perfectly with my canister vacuum cleaner. I've had Bissell Zing for over a year now and love it. I have 3 dogs so I vacuum every day and then some. This vacuum attachment is a real blessing, it makes my life easier.

I ordered it with a Kenmore Rack model number. Another smaller brush I ordered fitted perfectly. The big brush doesn't. I called Sears and was given information about printing a return label. It's not easy because I was connected to India. yes india Imagine my dismay when I received a second floor brush, also the wrong size.
