Review on 🔥 MatrixCarbon - Activated Carbon Filter Media, 4 Liters / 1 Gallon by Lisa Gunterman

Shape (round) and quality of MatrixCarbon is far superior to anything I have used in the past. I can set this up in a MyReefCreastions media reactor that has a nice tumbling motion without worrying about the carbon decomposing and fouling my saltwater tank. I use about a half gallon at a time and change them about every three to four months. My setup is a Red Sea Reefer 450. I use an Ecotech Marine Vectra M1 to power two MRC media reactors and a large UV sterilizer. Bucket. Couldn't be easier. When I change the carbon after three to four months it is still a consistent round (like a very small ball) shape and you can see that the color has changed from black to gray. I highly recommend Matrix Carbon.
