Will not stick to furniture pads

I wish they would stick to the legs of the sofa. I spent 1 week tucking the pads under the couch legs, that's the time they raised the couch. Even after the third day, the weight of the sofa legs broke through the cushions and the sofa was still sliding. I was hoping it would only be one pad but it happened to all four in one week.
