Review on 🔀 Spal 30100358 Low Profile Fan with 7.5-Inch Straight Blade by Josh Kim

Immediately after unpacking, I recognized the quality of SPAL. I bought a couple of these for a special car cooling project. Bought for the size and airflow alone, I was convinced this was the way to go. I was wrong. Very noisy and I bet the airflow is a far cry from the advertised 437CFM. The motor occupies half of the front of the fan - a dead zone in the airflow is immediately noticeable. The rest of the flow is generally non-linear - it wants to 'unwind' to the sides. not the best for cooling unless you have that round case fan to direct the air. Otherwise the air will just be turbulent and not going anywhere.
