Review on πŸ”Œ Plugable USB 2.0 Wireless N 802.11n Nano WiFi Network Adapter - High-Speed 150 Mbps, Plug and Play for Windows by Brian Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work great! best in network adapters

OLD REVIEW: They seem to work. I expected a little more range from them. I tried it on both Linux and Windows, but the distance and stability weren't good enough for use on a headless machine. I kept them because in an emergency it would be better than nothing. I ordered two of these and they both work the same way. NEW REVIEW: My previous review was critical of them. The manufacturer/retailer contacted me and offered a replacement, refund or whatever would make me happy - I kept it anyway. I've found these little devices don't like a bad hotspot. After a few months I lost all wireless connections and replaced the access point. Out of curiosity I connected these devices and they worked like champions. There are no problems with the connection, the speed is excellent. For no other reason will I be carrying one of these in my repair bag and using it as a "coal mine canary". If they don't work, that's an early warning to switch hotspots or upgrade. .
