I bought this looking for a heavy duty shower holder extension that could support the weight of my 16 inch wide, 6 pound shower head in heavy rain. I live in an apartment in NYC so an overhead mount is not an option. The only solution was to find an arm extender that could handle the weight and based on the reviews I decided to give it a try and damn this thing flips over its weight beyond class. It's not hard, but definitely hard. I tighten the handles and it practically snaps into place. And as soon as I turn on the shower, the huge shower head fills up with water and adds even more weight, but this thing handles it like a pro. Look no further, this is exactly what you need.
