It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Absolutely incomprehensible sensations from this device, before that there was a single-band repeater, but I wanted to expand the 5GHz network. In general, then the norms work, then everything gets up and the Internet is useless, you have to look for another place to install it, although I tried two convenient places for me, where it is not behind concrete walls, but it doesnโ€™t hurt my eyes either. In short, in order to install this device and everything worked fine, you need to experiment for a very long time with the place of the router, with the place of the repeater, with the network settings, in 2 months I have already lost hope and resigned myself, in general, now I understand that I need to take something more expensive, so that all this disgrace does not soar the brain. P. S I donโ€™t understand people who rush to write reviews almost immediately after purchase, I donโ€™t understand the words โ€œgood packaging and nice to hold in your handโ€, this is not a hell of a phone, this thing has one task, to stand in the corner to improve the Wi-Fi signal and get covered with dust, since you need to hold it in your hands once, when you just got it out of the box. For 2 months, I realized only one thing, with this thing once a week it is advisable to unplug it from the outlet along with the router, then everything is more or less stable, but this does not suit me personally.

Pros
  • You can turn off the LEDs in the settings, it is very useful, and the fact that it is dual-band.
Cons
  • Some kind of instability is felt, sometimes you want to throw both the router and the repeater to hell, and sometimes everything works perfectly, the pattern with which it all works is not clear, itโ€™s not good at all, in general, after reading reviews about TPLINK equipment in general, there is a real desire to throw all this junk away outside and take a pair of Airport from Apple, since Iโ€™m already tired of switching between networks, sometimes you switch from 5 GHz to 2.4, then back and everything starts working, but sometimes this trick doesnโ€™t help, I had to configure other network names on the repeater and now I switch to manually when I move from room to room, but at least itโ€™s clear to the router or repeater that Iโ€™m connected and whatโ€™s going on. In short, in general, you have to adapt yourself to the equipment, it only makes life easier in part, I was hoping for a completely different result.
