I especially needed a large lid as my plates have jagged edges and are larger than most. I've been looking for the right size for a long time. My old cover barely balanced on the box. They actually cover the whole plate and lie on the tray underneath. But they are large enough not to splatter when heating food. They even fit the large serving bowls I use to reheat soups. I particularly like that they are made of plastic, which is more pliable than brittle. Therefore, they don't feel like they will tear if accidentally dropped. After use I can usually just rinse with hot water as they tend to pick up some steam most of the time. Once dry, simply store in the microwave. Very happy with the purchase. And the delivery was quick. If you need large microwave lids, great.
