Love that these lights are motion-activated. Makes me feel safer when children ride bikes in neighborhood. I also like that you can choose blinking patterns & memory saves the chosen. Lights came ready to use (already had some charge-manual indicates 20%). They aren't super eye-catching during daytime if they are just "on", but the blinking/strobe does offer more visibility to traffic that reflectors alone. Hopefully these lights hold up to the test of time!
