Hard water laundry savings

About a year ago my husband and I moved to a town with very hard water. After several weeks of washing, I noticed that our clothes were getting stiffer and stiffer after each wash, especially when we air dried them (they were crispy when we air dried them)! They even started to itch a little, and none of us have super-sensitive skin. In desperation I bought this product as it was the only product I could find that said it didn't cause mud (I bought a mud wash booster and to this day some of my items still feel like they are fuller Chalk). It's a little pricey but boy do I love it! Our clothes are soft and clean - the way laundry should come out of the car! I know people who would never wash their sheets and towels without fabric softener, but I've never had a problem with our sheets and towels not being soft since using this product - no fabric softener is needed at all. I just use it with whatever laundry soap we happen to buy (I've used it with a Kirkland brand capsule and Method liquid detergent so far) and it works great! I have used 2 bags in about 10 months (for a family of 2).

Pros
  • SIMPLE INGREDIENTS - Eco-friendly phosphate designed to soften water and prevent hard water scale build-up
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required
