Review on Enhance Print Quality with BIGTREETECH Direct Vibration Creality Printers by Rushabh Gonsales

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple solution for a noisy 3D printer.

These things are a godsend. I put my Ender 3 on top of the extruder and Y and that alone reduced the noise by more than half. Now print adapters for the X, so we'll see what that brings to it, but I have no doubt that it will be almost silent. The next step is to upgrade the board and install new fans with bearings. With just two fans installed, louder than anything else, the X's whine is like an afterthought in the background. One issue I had with the Y was that the stepper motor got hotter than before, which is common with no connection. for extrusion for radiators. I installed the supplied radiator on the back of the engine and when it returned to its original position it collided directly with the radiator. No harm, this was a manual homing that needed checking, but it could damage your motor if you just attach it and start printing. I moved it to the side of the motor which isn't that great for dissipation but works well enough to get around. I also put a heatsink on top of the extruder, but I don't think it was really necessary. It fits without needing to modify or change offsets, so why not? You need to check the extruder tension as there is extra play in the rubber on the damper. My first try didn't go quite right due to a slight under-extrusion. The print quality didn't change at all after I fixed the extruder issue. I had to print adapters for Y and now for X because my pulleys are pressed in and won't slide and there is no noticeable difference in the prints. If you are looking for a simple solution to reduce the noise from your printer, this is the one for you. here.
