Review on 🔧 Klein Tools ET600 Multimeter, Insulation Tester & Megohmmeter with Auto-Ranging TRMS, 4000 Ohms Resistance, 125V/250V/500V/1000V by Dorian Bharadwaj

Haven't used it for isolation testing yet but will update when I do. The build quality is really nice. I have used the Fluke 1507 Megger many times and can say that it is as good quality as it was. In fact, the way Klein shaped the buttons in this gauge is quite pleasing. The screen is clear, everything is as it should be. I need a megger for 1000V. Also this megger goes for 4000MΩ. Randomness goes up to 11000 I believe. Don't think it matters much as at this distance you usually know if a cable or equipment has failed. You may need it when testing large industrial equipment, but for most applications you can't beat the price and quality of Klein. Some other well-known brands cost twice as much as Klein and only work with 1 or 2000 MΩ anyway. This block is durable and doesn't squeak when you turn it. Update I have used it for megging and it works great. I've also done a couple of experiments where I intentionally short from a full short to small insulation leaks and connect them.
