I love this journal and writing in it, the paper is of good quality and so is everything else, though I'm knocking stars off since it came broken. One of the latches was completely broken off and I can't fix it or glue it back on since it needs to move or whatever to work. I bought it because of the nice designs and latches, so I was disappointed. Otherwise, it has a weird smell but a nice one you get used to it. Like old books. Though, note, the stone on the front comes in different colors so you get it at random. Not too pleased with the color I got, but overall it's a good journal and I'm happy with it.
