Watch Samsung Galaxy Watch keeper

The first impression is exceptionally positive. I bought a Fullmosa strap to match the black stainless steel case of my new Samsung Galaxy watch. The strap is well made and easy to remove. This review is primarily about my new 42mm Samsung Galaxy watch. The black stainless steel case has a certain weight, which makes the watch strong and durable. The multifunctional rotating bezel is slightly higher than the Gorilla Glass touchscreen, which is sure to help protect the glass from scratches and bumps that wristwatches endure in everyday life. The AMOLED screen is stunning, bright, crisp, with pure blacks and fully saturated colors. Not only are the watch faces highly detailed, text of any size is crisp. The Samsung Exynos 9110 dual-core 1.15 GHz processor and the Tizen OS 4.0 operating system ensure smooth operation. Pairing the Samsung Galaxy Watch with my Samsung Galaxy S9 phone was quick and easy. Samsung has done a really good job of how the watch and phone interact with each other. To make sure I'm up to date on how to operate the watch and take full advantage of its long list of features, I downloaded the instruction manual a few days ago. To my great surprise, the manual consists of 102 pages that are clearly written and describe each function, how to access it and adjust various settings. After refreshing myself with the guide last night, I had no trouble setting the clock, customizing the settings to my personal preferences, and setting up Samsung Pay to use it on all NFC payment terminals. I removed the rubbery silicon strap. that comes with the clock. I'm not a fan of these bands. Perhaps this bracelet would be more realistic if I regularly exercise, sweat or swim with the watch on. I prefer the black stainless steel buckle strap. Belt pins with quick-release fasteners make it easier to change the belt. It took me longer to remove the bracelet pieces from the stainless steel bracelet to get the right size for my wrist than to change the bracelet. The black stainless steel strap gives the Samsung Galaxy Watch a more sophisticated look, while the black color of the strap perfectly matches the black stainless steel case. The watch comes with nine preset watch faces. I downloaded eleven other watch faces that I like. Many watch faces are customizable, allowing you to change the color of the face, hands, and small watch face features of other watch faces. A person can go crazy with dials if not restrained. Over 60,000 watch faces available. The Galaxy Watch also comes preloaded with a number of apps for functionality and fitness. Additional applications can be downloaded. I've added a currency converter, an altimeter and barometer, and a Celsius to Fahrenheit converter app. I probably won't use the fitness tracking features, but I like the pedometer, stair climbs, heart rate monitor, and estimated calories burned per day. I like the always-on display. This allows the dial to dim and change color when your wrist is moved or hung, but when you move your hand to the normal position to view the watch, the dial is fully illuminated and the time it remains fully illuminated, before it is dimmed in the menu settings. There are so many useful features on the Samsung Galaxy Watch that it will take time to learn how to best use them, but suffice it to say I'm impressed with this watch. This is a real watch that offers so much more right on your wrist. Tonight I was in the kitchen when Pete (Vintage Pete) texted me. My phone was on the table in my office, so I didn't see the message for a while. Instead, my watch vibrated softly to let me know I'd received a text message. A swipe across the screen and I read the text. I responded by tapping the microphone icon and speaking my response. The Samsung Galaxy Watch converted my speech to text and I clicked the send icon right on the watch. How cool is that. Same when I get a call. My watch rings or vibrates or rings and vibrates to notify me of an incoming call. One touch of the answer icon and I can answer a call right from the watch even if my cell phone is in another room or in my pocket. I haven't checked the bluetooth range but I know it works from the kitchen to my office. I went with the 42mm watch instead of the 46mm watch. I would have preferred a larger battery in a 46mm watch but the size was too big for my wrist. I can always extend battery life by turning off Always On Display, GPS, and heart monitoring, but honestly, why would I want to do that. I don't mind tossing the watch onto a tiny charger at night, even if it's not necessary. The 42mm size is perfect, and the screen size is just 0.1 inches behind the 46mm model, so I still have enough room for my fingers to navigate the touchscreen. Overall I'm very happy with the Samsung Galaxy Watch and I suspect my other watches will linger in the dark of the drawer, keeping each other company and perhaps seeing daylight for a specific occasion. Now I'm obsessed with Galaxy watches. It's comfortable and I have no problem with the long sleeve cuffs fitting over it. So far this watch has everything I was hoping for and more. I think I made a good choice for my first smartwatch. The photos show the watch face at full brightness and then dimmed on the Always On setting. The last photo shows the thickness of the watch along with the black stainless steel strap that I added.
