These bags are about the same size as those in the supermarket for groceries, but the plastic is much thicker. However, they don't seem to tear easily. If you have the discipline to bring your own bags to the grocery store, they work well for groceries or maybe meat packaging, so you can just get rid of that bag without worrying about recycling. I think I'll end up using them for dog walking. I've been buying biodegradable bin liners for about 10 years and I'm always happy to find them.
