To update! Works well. Doesn't work with my Ring Video Doorbell.
Update! Reinstalled at home after charging the doorbell battery and happy to report the batteries are now fully charged. Very happy as it was -13F outside this morning. This plug transformer was easier than installing a regular doorbell transformer, much less hassle. I am disappointed that this transformer is not maintaining the battery life of my new Ring Video Doorbell (2020 Edition). To be fair it could be due to sub-zero temperatures but I don't think so. It outputs 18 volts AC, but obviously the output current (800mA) is not enough to keep the lithium battery charged.
