I've tried using this to measure salt and yeast when making pizza dough. I needed to be able to measure fractions of a gram and it failed miserably. When adding yeast it changed from 1.4, 1.6, 1.9, 2.0 (I needed 2.1), 2.0, 2.0, 2.0. It was obviously over 2.0, but the scale just stayed at 2. I switched to another scale and it said 4 grams. Bring it back here and it shows 3.8. Unfortunately, I had similar results when trying to measure 32 grams of salt. Also, the dial only stays lit for a short time, and once the light goes out, it's almost impossible to read. waste of money.
