Lots of negative reviews about waterproofing, but I bought it for the long battery life, so I can't comment on the waterproofing issues. So far I've listened to a total of about 20 hours of music streamed through the speaker and it still sounds good. I'm very happy with it as other inexpensive speakers I've used only lasted 4-6 hours before shutting down. And the sound quality is better than I expected from a $30 speaker. I mean it's not perfect but for the price it's definitely worth the investment. I love it!
