A very affordable cabin filter to fit my 2013 Passat TDI

This filter is around half the price of more established brands but is just as good. There is foam rubber padding on the edge, which makes assembly a little more difficult, but the seal is much better. The original equipment filter I pulled out was quite clogged with sand and dirt from the air, and it appeared to have a thinner mechanical seal. When I use the air conditioner, it gives off a slight "medicinal" smell that isn't as noticeable when the heating or ventilation is on. I see myself ordering more of these.
