Actually I was trying to find out where this cabin air filter is located. and it wasn't even mentioned in the VW manual. So I was afraid I wouldn't find it. When the package was received the location and instructions were on the box! It was so easy to make and the price was great. A little cheaper than a comparable Mann filter. It has enough "return" to install it. The position of the body means that filters must have some flexibility to attach, including OEM filters from Mann, MicronAir, etc. The cap sealing valve seems to be a little thinner, although the directions on the box are mostly accurate, except for the cap that don't drag but move to the right then drag.

I have always used Mann cabin filters in my cars but when the CUK2939 ran out of stock I took a chance and bought a cheaper cabin filter and was pleasantly surprised. This filter, installed on a 2006 Audi A3, was actually easier to install and a better fit than the Mann filter it replaced.
