After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if this would fix a 1 1/2 inch scratch on my glass coffee table. The scratch was deep enough to keep my nail from moving back and forth across it. I also bought the cerium oxide felt polishing pad recommended in combination with this product. It took my husband about 2 1/2 hours and I'm very happy that the scratch is completely gone. Previous reviews said it would only work on light surface scratches, but I'm here to report the complete opposite. If you are diligent and willing to put in the time, deep scratches will be removed. A felt buff is a must to achieve the desired result. I spent a total of $37.00. A replacement for a very large beveled table glass would cost $500.00. The risk was definitely worth the reward.
