    Different polishes for different stones

I'm a total amateur so I'm learning as I go because I can't find proper instructions online. First I rolled these stones with 4 different grits but they were still dull. Then I bought cerium oxide and some turned out very nice and shiny, others are still dull. I assume different stones need different polishing. For the rest I'll try some aluminum oxide and give feedback on that. The stones that came out shiny are really amazing, but for some silly reason no one tells you that you need all sorts

Works great with body repair tools

This stuff works great! It seems very cool! I work with glass and beveled glass on a lapping wheel and this cerium oxide gives my work a beautiful shine. I used a more expensive cerium oxide from another company and felt that I needed to polish them longer with the product. This made me very nervous when I bought this product because it costs so much less and I didn't expect it to work. But I was very impressed with how well it polished my glass and how quickly it brought polish after charging…

    • High test scores for grip and durability
    Cons
    • High price

Works exactly as advertised. The 2000 Accord and Gramma dried their wipers on a dirty windshield. It was very difficult to see at night and in the rain. Bought a Bosch random orbit sander ($49) and a 1lb can of cerium powder and used 1 felt pad. The water stains disappeared almost immediately. However, the scratches had to be worked on. It took me about 2 hours to get the perfect result. There are still a few scratches but as advertised if you feel them or catch them with your fingernail they…

    Worked better than expected.

My 1965 Ford Galaxie had terrible fogging on the wipers and two serious scratches. Decided to replace the glass. It wasn't easy, but the results exceeded my expectations. It's also incredibly dirty. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a worn windshield. The windshield wipers fogged up so badly that I couldn't drive the car at night or at dusk. The light was refracted so much that it was dangerous to drive a car. This part of my glass is great now. The two hard scratches are still there…

    Incredible results!

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if this would fix a 1 1/2 inch scratch on my glass coffee table. The scratch was deep enough to keep my nail from moving back and forth across it. I also bought the cerium oxide felt polishing pad recommended in combination with this product. It took my husband about 2 1/2 hours and I'm very happy that the scratch is completely gone. Previous reviews said it would only work on light surface scratches, but I'm here to report the complete opposite. If you…

surface looks better. I should probably come back to that one day.

I recently used this product to restore float glass mirrors in a bathroom where the surface had been scratched trying to remove wallpaper paste residue. Subsequent use of the Scrotch Brite cleaning pad severely scratched the surface. Given the location of the scratches, I was working on a vertical surface, so it took longer to remove drain scratches than the paste was applied. I used a cordless angle drill. It took a few hours (lots of deep scratches) but the finish looked better in the end…

Nothing bad to say - it has worked for me

I bought a 1 pound tub and used very little as a paste to buff out a scratch in my tempered glass living room window and fiberglass tub. . I used it with a velcro buffing attachment and a 3" glass buffing wheel from Griot's Garage, using a variable speed drill and quite a bit of paste. In both cases, I got the job done in less than a few minutes. I plan to polish a small scratch. in my quartz countertop and cleaning my 2002 headlights before sealing them. I've polished them before without this…
