The brush roller is almost an exact replacement for the original Shark. Slightly lighter than the original. The soft roll that runs in front of the vacuum is about 15-20 percent smaller than the original one. It is noticeable and also lighter in weight. It still works, just less so. Recommend as it comes with a hair removal tool which this model does not have.
