Clarity and treble are very good. Bass and low mids aren't that strong - don't forget to put some dampening foam in the door when installing, it really makes a difference. Note that in my case I took out the stock speakers, then used a dremel cutter blade to adjust the original stock brackets and attached the new speaker to the old plastic counting bar and then installed the entire assembly - it took 30 minutes, but the installation came out. very beautiful and requires no additional equipment or expense.
