This solar charger produces 25 volts in direct sunlight. That's too much for a 12 volt car battery charger. As with charging a car alternator, the maximum voltage should be between 12 and 14 volts. Not happy with this extremely "non-standard" output device. I would not recommend this solar charger. I turned it off and ordered a solar charger from another supplier. Unfortunately I threw away the box and packing material that it came with so I probably won't be able to get a refund. I will contact Revane to find out.
