Review on Swivel Lime Luggage Tags Set by Travelon by Carrie Spencer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice luggage tag! (The review comes with an instruction manual.)

The order was a shot in the blue, I didn't really know what to expect but I like the privacy aspect, at the same time I can have contact information on the bag. As it turns out, I love these tags. None of these tags can just fall off. The suspension strap is made of a very strong plastic (plastic) and while I have no doubt that an airline somewhere could break the suspension strap, it will take some work to do so. Unless someone is very familiar with how the hanging strap is threaded through the buckle, they will not be able to open it in a very short time. So don't cut it off for instant access to your more personal bag of information on Reliable. The tag itself is molded from a durable material and the yellow ones I received are bright and would be nice to see on the baggage carousel. Several people have mentioned how they open up. This is partly because the instructions and information on the packaging are WRONG. It shows a different type of luggage tag. To open: 1) Remove the hanging strap and 2) turn the two parts (upper and lower) opposite each other. That's all. What looks like a button (or something similar) on the label at the end opposite the hanging strap is a plastic rivet; the top and bottom halves of the label are hinged to the rivet. So if you remove the strap and hold the label at the end of the strap between your thumb and forefinger and then fan it out (like waving multiple playing cards in your hand), the two halves will separate very easily. DO NOT pull the two halves apart, you will break the plastic rivet.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Ok
