With my MacBook I was looking for a cable to connect to my 3440x1440p@120Hz monitor. I didn't want to worry about the limitations of HDMI, so I chose this cable because it supports the DisplayPort 1.2 specification. I'm also a fan of high refresh rates. This cable works great with my monitor (Z35P). It supports both 3440 x 1440p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. I've uploaded photos to show the drop frame tests and you can clearly see it running at 120Hz with no drop frame. As for the build quality of this cable, I have nothing but good things to say about it. I really like braided cables as they feel very comfortable and look very nice. The cable itself feels very solid, and the USB-C and DisplayPort heads fit my Macbook and monitor snugly. I would definitely recommend this cable to anyone who wants to connect their USB-C device to any monitor that supports higher resolutions and higher refresh rates. Prices.
