I was pleasantly surprised to find a reasonably priced replacement for my old Apple case which broke after over 3 years of use. This case works just like the original, providing a safe soft finish to protect the glass from scratches. Is it as durable as the original Apple case? no In this case, the corners of the iPad snap and are protected at the edges, but not surrounded by padding like the "official" Apple case. In practice, however, it turned out to be fine. The sleep feature works, and I had no problem folding the top down to prop the iPad when viewing it from a desk, desk, or lap. This case just saved my iPad from a 3 foot drop. The glass fell "face first" onto the tiles. The corner of the case broke off and the back of the case detached, but the glass landed flat and the iPad case stayed in place, protecting it. The impact hit the corner of the body, not the corner of my iPad. The glass is not broken and the edges of my iPad are intact with a small scratch. The broken case is back in place and today I am ordering the same case to replace it. Update: My son bought a replacement iPad case for me through Revain from the same seller. It came packaged the same way. This article has 0 stars. The magnetic case does not fit or fold properly and does not turn the iPad on or off. In fact, the iPad stays on when you want to turn it off. It was difficult to put on and extremely difficult to remove to put back on. Because the first one worked so well, I'm ordering a third, assuming I have a 50/50 chance of getting one that works properly. If you order I wish you the best of luck in getting one that works as advertised. If you can get one that works, it's a good buy. If you get one that doesn't work, it's useless.
