I used this cover on two cases of beer. It is very easy to clean and disinfect, very easy to use and has - so far - zero failure rates. This capper is designed for "two-way" or "homemade" bottles as it grips the neck firmly and ensures the cap is screwed around the neck with centralized pressure. Use of this closure or a similar closure on "single use" or "disposable" bottles may cause thinner bottles to fail, especially with repeated use. (Most commercial beers/sodas come in non-returnable bottles.) I am very pleased with the performance of this capper and would recommend using it as directed.
