It works, but you have to be specific.

jumps or you don't put the cap on. This resulted in some spills and the loss of caps. the right amount of pressure to put the cap on. That, plus the fact that you have plastic alignment features on the cap that need to be aligned in order to press, makes this more of a perfectionist job than a fun job.

I used this cover on two cases of beer. It is very easy to clean and disinfect, very easy to use and has - so far - zero failure rates. This capper is designed for "two-way" or "homemade" bottles as it grips the neck firmly and ensures the cap is screwed around the neck with centralized pressure. The same shape as the more expensive brand name; cheaper plastic

It seems that the contract manufacturer who made the "real" version of these lids decided to make and sell an unbranded version from the same molds but from cheaper plastic in my opinion. The plastic is rougher to the touch and I wouldn't be surprised if it weakens and, if unlucky or the user isn't careful, cracks.
