Clever idea. Nice clip design, probably the best I've seen for attaching to an air vent. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's claims that the magnets are the strongest on the market are completely false. I installed a car mount in my truck and after a few minutes my phone fell off. My phone is iPhone XS, not max. I tried both magnetic mounts on my truck hoping one of them would work. Unfortunately there aren't any. I've been using magnetic mounts in my car for a number of years and have never dropped my phone until I tried them. I removed the lid from one to see if it really had 5 magnets. They were, but they just didn't have the strength. Statements about the high strength of the magnets in this case are greatly exaggerated.
