Just arrived today, on time and I'm already looking forward to the start! The tripod itself is great. The ability to change the height would be very useful, and I like the ability to tilt the stand's head vertically or horizontally. I'm planning to use it to record workshops and while trying to record the project I realized that the side view really can't capture the required angles when you're working on something. Being able to mount the iPhone and tilt it horizontally over my project would be perfect. The brightness range is better than I expected and the switch is very easy to use with just a few buttons. I have not attempted to use a remote labeled for the iOS or Android picture function. So I can't comment on the capabilities of the remote, but that's not why I personally bought this item.
