I was very happy and installed it in my turtle tank. I unrolled it and put all the suction cups back in place. Inserted into the wall. I connected the air duct to the air pump and turned everything on. The lights are beautiful. However, there are air intakes at either end of the longer strip, and there's no way to close or cover any of them. I ended up having to use a splitter and run an extra air line at the other end to keep the air from going straight through and I got the fizzing effect. After that was all done, I took the remote control to test the different light functions. The power buttons do not work. The 2 lower function keys do not work. Half of the colored buttons don't work. I found that if I press the strobe button and then the slow down button and then the strobe button again it switches to fade out. However, the remote control is pretty much useless and such a disappointment. For the price of this light bar I would have expected a lot more. Now that I've got it installed where I want it and figured out the bubbler, it's a great feature which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
