Installed ONLY because I replaced the alternator and this van has 130,000 miles on it. You have to remove the EGR valve to replace the alternator so I replaced the EGR as well as preventative maintenance as it had to be removed anyway. Of course I threw away the old one during installation as while it was good I installed a brand new valve so it wasn't necessary. Didn't you know that three weeks after installation my check engine light and EGR valve code came on? Apparently either the valve is annoying or the computer doesn't like it. Anyway it doesn't work and now I have to replace it again. Wouldn't buy again.
