Works as well as OEM

I usually buy OEM parts from Chrysler. But the retailer is asking way too much for this item and no OEM seems to be getting it right.

Standard engine product EGR

Product received quickly and fitted with no problems. Gaskets were also included. Hope it lasts as long as the original. It was a great price. Many Thanks.

Affordable replacement

Works as advertised, resets trouble codes and checks the engine light. Replacing it with the Grand Caravan is a bit of a hassle as the bottom screw is difficult to access. I was able to get to the bolt by removing the top first and rotating the assembly counterclockwise enough to fit a small 1/4" drive head there, which avoided moving the alternator. If you don't have 1/4" sockets and then a bunch of different length extensions, get ready to bother as you probably won't get 3/8" sockets or…

2006 Town and Country

Installed ONLY because I replaced the alternator and this van has 130,000 miles on it. You have to remove the EGR valve to replace the alternator so I replaced the EGR as well as preventative maintenance as it had to be removed anyway. Of course I threw away the old one during installation as while it was good I installed a brand new valve so it wasn't necessary. Didn't you know that three weeks after installation my check engine light and EGR valve code came on? Apparently either the valve is…

Exactly what I needed and supplied with both seals

Delivery was very quick. The valve was supplied with the two required gaskets. The engine immediately ran smoother so this was the fix for my P0404 engine check code (2005 Dodge Caravan). A YouTube video I watched recommended using a 1/4" drive with a 10mm socket. My 3/8" drive and 10mm socket seemed to fit nicely in the top screw so I started removing but ended up needing a thinner 1/4" socket (which I didn't have) . I don't know why a deep wellhead is needed. I managed R&R with the perfect…

EGR valve, 2006 Chrysler Town and Country.

This 3.8 liter engine jerked and wobbled while driving. It displayed the Check Engine warning light and set DTC P0406. This replacement EGR valve was ordered on Friday 26th July and arrived on Monday 5th August. Total cost was $40.92 and included two replacement gaskets for the ports on the valve. . It was installed on Tuesday 6th August. An OBD test kit was used to clear DTC P0406 which has not returned after three months and the engine is running normally. Installation note: The position of…

Exactly what the car doctor (or "Check Engine " light) ordered

Having driven just over 120,000 miles on a trip with my wife, I'm on a fairly warm one Day driving through the mountains of West Maryland Sitting in the Grand Caravan minivan, the "Check Engine" light came on and I wondered for a while what the problem with my car was. When we finally drove, my stepdaughter picked me up and drove to my sister-in-law's house, my brother-in-law kindly pulled out his code reader and verified for me that the problem was with the EGR valve. Oh good. It didn't sound…
