Exactly what the car doctor (or "Check Engine " light) ordered

Having driven just over 120,000 miles on a trip with my wife, I'm on a fairly warm one Day driving through the mountains of West Maryland Sitting in the Grand Caravan minivan, the "Check Engine" light came on and I wondered for a while what the problem with my car was. When we finally drove, my stepdaughter picked me up and drove to my sister-in-law's house, my brother-in-law kindly pulled out his code reader and verified for me that the problem was with the EGR valve. Oh good. It didn't sound too scary. When I contacted the local shop, if they provided the part, the cost of the repair was much more than I was willing to pay, having researched the prices of the parts. here at Revain in advance. After receiving this information I didn't hesitate to go back and place an order for this part. It was a very reasonable price, at least compared to what the shop thought I would have to pay if I got the parts from them, and it was a brand new and not used part when I went to the local dumps to find out to think. received part. I paid the store to install it, although I've seen video tips and comments online that indicated the installation shouldn't have been that difficult. Unfortunately, the same tips also found that this was a little more difficult than one would expect due to the location of the alternator and where at least one of the bolts to be removed would be located. In the end I figured rather than tearing my knuckles I should leave the installation to the professionals. Since this installation completed as expected, the check engine light is no longer lit, the vehicle's performance is back. to where it needs to be and everything is fine with the ground for driving a minivan.
