Others have mentioned that plastic lids break easily and I definitely broke one. I have found that gently tightening the caps is enough to create an airtight seal and avoid breakage. The jars were packed in a flat box, each separated by cardboard. Each jar is encased in a bubble bag and the lids attached to the jars are sealed with a thin plastic bag. Each glass has a small spoon / spatula. The item arrived with no damage in transit. I am satisfied with the quality of the goods and the reasonable price. They are perfect for my home made supplement capsule storage needs (30,000 caliber capsules along with sachets of silica gel and oxygen scavenger in each tin. A small amount of polyfill was added to prevent rattling and potential capsule separation during shipping). The cobalt glass prevents UV damage and the silica gel and oxygen absorber sachets extend durability. I plan to continue using these glasses. I placed another order a little earlier today. 5 stars overall, 5 stars for quality and tightness; 4 stars for durability as plastic lids break easily.
