Review on 🪔 Oil Lamp Mate: 1 Inch Flat Cotton Wick with Purple Stitch - 6 Foot Roll - Ideal for Oil Lanterns and Oil Lamps by Jordan Gonzales

I soaked them for an hour was a bit skeptical but they work great! They look hollow but are sewn together rather than fully woven. I thought it wouldn't work, but once they were fully soaked and then trimmed, they worked great in my US made old Queen Anne #2 burners. The 7/8 wicks were not wide enough and left room in the wick stem. This wick is not quite 1 inch long but fills the stem nicely. The thickness is good, there are no problems with winding and unwinding. Burned in Scovill #2 4-5 hours a night for a week and still not charred. I would say it's a win! Soak well, keep the wick low in the stem until the next burn and don't heat the flame too high, then it will last forever!
