This insect trap is very easy to install. All I had to do was take it out of the packaging, place it on a small table and plug it in, done. We've had plenty of mosquitoes when it comes to killing insects and even with spraying and adding these mosquito pellets we still have plenty of them on our patio. I put this trap on a patio table and the only sound this thing makes is when it kills a bug. The sound of the shot isn't that loud, but if you're just enjoying the cool weather, you can hear it. If you're talking outside or watching kids play, you really don't hear them that much. When it comes to cleaning, remove the tray, put it back and you're done. While this deterrent may look small compared to the one hanging near the poolside seating area, it actually kills pesky mosquitoes. If we turn this on for about an hour on average, it will kill a large number. The advantage of this zapper is that the grids are so small that small fingers cannot fit through.
