A lot of color for so much money, a set like this lasts a long time. More gel than liquid, they apply gently. After a week, some cups get hard but wet well. Even when it's completely dry, just add water and color. The colors mix well. Opaque and thick, they mask very well. There are 2 white cups - there is never too much white gouache to blend and highlight. The set is heavy for travel, lots of color. Good heavy box, lid fits snugly, colors stay wet. Check valves look like they will tear along the hinge with use, but this doesn't affect the seal around the cap. Good price and a pleasure to use. If I ever use up all or most of the paint I will buy again.
