The controls are absolutely amazing, the heater also impresses with its bulky but quite attractive looks compared to some traditional heaters. It works at a height of 30 gallons and doesn't miss a beat. It features an amazing variable wattage system that only gives the heater the power it needs to stabilize the temperature instead of just running at full power non-stop until it reaches temperature. At night the controller will automatically lower the temperature by 1°F via a photo sensor as nights are naturally cooler. Make sure to combine this with a sun/sunset simulator.
