This license plate light module had microcracks in the bracket that holds the module to the bumper. I've had this before and returned the module for a refund. This time I put a few drops of Gorilla Glue on the cracks and assembled everything as is. My first installation failed. I inserted the connector without aligning it properly and bent two thin wire pins. Of course, the light didn't work until I put the two pins back in the correct position. I was careful with the second installation and it worked great. It also looks brighter than the standard or previous module. Hope that helps.
