My son is 2.3 years old. and wears a size 8 from Carter's Shoes (which fits perfectly with no gap in front) so I bought it for toddler 8.5-9 and it fits spot on. I bought it thinking it would be big enough but when summer comes it will be small for him. I will not bring him back like another son. So I will take these in the next next size up for longer use.
