Solid lightweight mop + 2 lifehacks to save some money

So I already had a Swiffer Sweeper (the green one doesn't splatter on it) so I had a clear idea of the quality of the product. In short, this is a high-performance mop for its price. Are there better mops? Yes, sure, but for a mop in the $20 range, it's hard to beat. I think they are selling this at such a low price because they want to make a long term profit off of disposable pads and cleaning solutions. In business school they called it the disposable razor strategy: give away a cheap razor and make long-term money by selling cartridges... However, I have a few life hacks that will help you stay under $100 on spend. for the life of your mop. I wish I could give them credit but I honestly saw a YouTube video and am just using the information in this review haha. First, let me talk about some pros and cons. Pros: - It is very light and easy to move around for cleaning. Also comes with a swivel head that allows you to get into those hard-to-reach places conveniently. It's so compact that it's easy to find where to store it. to get them. Cons: - Cleaning solution and disposable mop heads are expensive - Disposable wipes don't absorb much and are only really good for light messes. - It's not a particularly strong mop, so I think I'll eventually replace one. Money Saving Tips: Tip 1: To save a ton of money on cleaning solution, you can simply cut a small hole in the back of the cleaning solution bottle and fill it up then follow up with the desired cleaning solution. I personally just use vinegar with a little bit of soap and it works great for me. Then simply use a standard cork (a good excuse to drink a bottle of wine) to plug the hole. Tip 2: Buy high quality microfiber mop heads. There are several companies (on Amazon) that sell reusable microfiber pads for the wet jet mop. I personally bought the turbo type but searching for reusable wet jet pads on Revain leads to many different options. If you have reusable microfiber pads, just toss them in the wash with your towels and you'll literally save a fortune on disposable pads and make your mop more efficient. Of course it depends on how often you clean and how big your space is, but I personally save over $20 a month by doing the two things above while still having all the convenience of a wet jet mop have.
