I bought this for my bitch who just got spayed. She is a rescue dog who has been abused and is easily frightened. She was afraid of the plastic e-collar we got from the vet. She lowered her head to the floor and didn't move. She needed it, but I couldn't look at her like that. A friend told me about these inflatable donuts so I bought them for her. What a huge difference! It fastens at the collar around the neck, it is very easy to put on and take off. She can lay her head on it, sleep, and even fetch water. I saw a big difference in that.
