This item was used to add USB ports to an unused factory install location on the 2018 Tundra. Installation: The factory wiring harness was cut off as it did not connect to an existing connector. I decided to solder to the 14G wire and connect directly to the fuse box with a flat 5V mini fuse, adding a fuse in an open slot that turns on in the accessory position. The element is inserted very securely into an unused slot on the underside of the dashboard without slipping. No changes are required. Product: The green light of the USB port is not too bright and easy to use, mainly due to the installation location. Time will tell how long the product lasts but in the two weeks I've been using it seems to be holding up pretty well. When properly installed, the product looks very similar to the OEM.
