Fits perfectly in the glove box of our 2020 Toyota 4runner SUV! There is a factory connector/cutout in the glove box, just above the access door to the cabin air filter. Unplugged and this double USB plug fits perfectly into the spot. Connect the wiring to the existing 12V cigarette lighter wiring. Works as advertised.

Out of the box this unit was dead on arrival. The light inside came on but when I plugged in the USB cable to charge my phone there was no power to my phone hence it was not charged. Before disassembling the car to install this device, make sure it works by connecting it to an external 12V source. I went to Kolya and made a simple free return.

Cigarette lighter cable for easy installation. The module was securely in place and didn't come loose when pulled, which happened with the other module I was returning. Reliable quality and perfect fit for the 2012 Toyota Sequoia. Looks almost factory new apart from the green LEDs which I wish were red/orange to match Toyota factory colors.

Top USB port not working - not charging devices. The bottom connector works. The rear end plate that the cables run through was loose/broken on arrival. USB cables are loose and sloppy when plugged in. The blue backlight is too bright and annoying. It goes well with the Lexus GX460 left shifter, but the quality of the component leaves a lot to be desired. It is very inconvenient to disassemble and reassemble internal parts due to a defective and poorly finished product.

This item was used to add USB ports to an unused factory install location on the 2018 Tundra. Installation: The factory wiring harness was cut off as it did not connect to an existing connector. I decided to solder to the 14G wire and connect directly to the fuse box with a flat 5V mini fuse, adding a fuse in an open slot that turns on in the accessory position. The element is inserted very securely into an unused slot on the underside of the dashboard without slipping. No changes are required.

I've bought the same adapter port twice before and can't comment on the durability of the former as I've since sold the truck. However, this charging port has already failed after less than 3 months of VERY light use. The ports themselves are detached from the bezel and simply plugged back into the dash, rendering the ports unusable. The plastic that connects cables from USB to cables that plug into a factory 12v socket doesn't represent the best connection. Communication is intermittent, at least on the one sent to me. I have Limited 2019 and TRD OR. I used two of these in each 4Runner to add a total of 4 USB ports. They are quite easy to install, it's very nice that they can be connected to the car without cutting the wires.
