Sometimes I'm too literal. I saw the word "oversized" and thought it meant that a king size bedspread was too long and too wide, both of which are good quality. I also looked at the photo and saw that all the generous extra fabric was folded back and forth to form the overlays. It also seems that the bedspread can have all that extra length AND can reach the floor at the foot of the bed. my biggest mistake Based on what is shown in the photo I am assuming that the photo shows the exact blanket I will be receiving in terms of colour, pattern and a certain amount of body or substance in the material. When the box arrived my first thought was that it couldn't be ROYAL PLATE and 2 SHAMS because the box was too small to hold that much fabric and it was light. And yet it was the bedspread that I ordered. The fact is that the main color of the bedspread is light blue, without a touch of turquoise. The fabric is thin. The word "oversized" actually means "very long but not wide". I bought a king bedspread to cover a queen bed and barely had enough side to side coverage. The fabric on the back of the dummy fabric is loose and is promised no more than a wash or two before it runs off. The cover set got 3 stars because it's a cover that has a bunch of blue colors and it's too long. 2 stars because the bedspread I received is smaller than what is shown in the photo and description from Revain.
